Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Billingsgate Cafe is the underdog of the breakfast scene, and everyone loves an underdog. Yulin couldn’t stop raving about the scallop bacon roll, declaring it the best breakfast bun he’s ever had. Sounds delightful, right? Well, Pedro Serôdio and Shame A Name agree, but some are not so keen on the haddock—beware of the saltiness.
With a clean environment and a bustling vibe, it’s a solid option for seafood lovers, but as Ali Hafezz discovered, the quality of food can be hit or miss. A frozen sea bass? Not cool. If you stick to the scallops, you should be golden.
"The scallop was so flavourful and juicy."
"Aimed at the workers not tourists but if you want a seafood breakfast then this is the place!"
"The scallops and bacon sandwich lives up to the hype."
