Caffe Italia is a bit of a mixed bag, like that friend who shows up to a party with a questionable casserole. You’ll find decent coffee and pastries, but don’t expect to be blown away. Sure, the prices are great and the vibe is friendly, but it’s more of a stop-and-go place than a destination.
The Bangladeshi Italian Society runs the show here, and while they’re doing their best, the service can be a tad minimalistic. It’s a place to pop in for a quick coffee rather than a leisurely brunch. If you get a good espresso, it’s a win, otherwise, just be grateful for the restroom access.
