Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Cecconi's Shoreditch is that place that tries to do it all but ends up being just... fine. The interior might remind you of a 1950's movie, and it's cozy enough to make you feel all warm and fuzzy. A lot of patrons, like Sharon Free, rave about the breakfast options and friendly service, while others left thinking they might need to up their game. The crab pasta was a major letdown for some, tasting like it swam in a salty sea rather than anything remotely delicious. 🦀
Archie, the bartender, has been the saving grace for many, crafting cocktails that might just make you forgive the kitchen's shortcomings. Service is quick, and the vibe is just right for a casual outing, but don't go in expecting fireworks. It’s reliable but lacks that special something to make it a destination rather than just a stop-off.
"Highly recommend it. A simple menu with enough choice."
"Stephen and the team were fantastic - attentive and professional throughout."
"Amazing service by Archie, makes a beautifully balanced cocktail."
