Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Chicken Run is a mixed bag, really. On one hand, you've got raving fans like Ahmed, who can’t stop drooling over their Mixed Doner, where juicy lamb and tender chicken come together like a culinary rom-com. And then there’s Lucy, who’s been repeatedly disappointed by chips that seem more like rocks than food. It’s like a love story gone wrong. You've got friendly staff like Tarek, but also a side of ‘what the hell’ from others who’ve had enough of hard chips and rationed sauces. So, it's decent if you're not too picky.
In short, if you’re in the area and craving something relatively cheap and cheerful, it might hit the spot. Just be prepared for the occasional chip that might just break a tooth. This place has potential, but it’s definitely not a culinary paradise. Just your typical quick bite joint that can be hit or miss. 🤷♂️
