Meraz is a wonderful hidden jewel off Brick Lane, where you can savor some top-notch Bengali dishes. Brian and Marina couldn't stop raving about the lamb biryani and welcoming owner. It's not flashy but more about the food than the frills, which is something Sami and Trond appreciated. The environment is simple, yet the flavors are anything but.
However, don’t go looking for a bustling atmosphere or fancy decor. It’s about the food—just bring your own drinks. Raji’s experience with the biryani was a highlight, while Benedict found the starters a tad lacking. It’s not perfect, but it’s certainly a solid bet for a satisfying meal.
