Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" — not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Oat Coffee on Brick Lane is the kind of spot that makes your taste buds sing and your heart do little flips. Caroline Rosa swears by the lemon cake, giving it a solid 10/10, while Shaylah Potter would swim across Antarctica for their cookies. The staff? They're as warm as the coffee, always ready to chat and offer water like they’re your new best mates. Mia Sutherland can’t get enough of their matcha drinks, claiming it’s a weekly ritual, and I get it. It's a cute hangout where you can sip on a chai latte and escape the chaotic London streets.
However, not everyone is singing praises—Nazmeen found the gluten-free matcha cookie somewhat sandy, which isn’t ideal when you’re dropping £9 on a coffee and cookie combo. Still, the vibe is chill, the staff are lovely, and the lemon cake is calling your name. Just maybe steer clear of the gluten-free dessert if you like your cookies to have a bit more... texture.
"The best treats in brick lane and also the coffee."
"The cookies here are so amazing and doughy."
"The most delicious matcha drinks and coffee."
