Ashton-on-Mersey Golf Club is your classic all-rounder. It’s got that comfy feel, perfect for weddings and gatherings. Iain Blackshaw’s family wedding was a hit, with food so good he couldn’t finish it—sounds like a catering win. The staff, including Sara and Jane, are top-notch, making sure everything runs smoothly, which is a nice touch when you have 60 guests to please.
Golfers like Farai rave about the friendly vibe on the course, but I have to wonder if it’s the Mersey’s aroma or a possible case of 'too many beans for lunch'? Liam Waine mentioned a whiff of something less than pleasant, so make sure you’re not doing a deep breath when you hit the fairway. Overall, a decent spot for both golfers and events, if you can ignore the occasional off-putting scent. 🏌️♂️
