The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Greggs is the usual reliable chain, where the sausage rolls are hot and the service can range from friendly to downright icy. You know what you're getting here – decent food at a decent price. The manager Sue, however, might need a course in customer service, as she’s been known to serve attitude along with the pastries.
The food is fresh, and while you can’t expect a Michelin star, you can at least count on a successful snack run. The staff are generally helpful, but be careful of when you catch Sue on a bad day. If you can overlook the occasional frostiness, you’ll find yourself satisfied with a classic Greggs experience. Just don’t expect any warm hugs alongside your steak bake. 🥐
