The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
GAIL's Petersfield is the kind of place that feels like a 'be careful what you wish for' type of stop. Paul Thompson raved about their decaf coffee and chocolate croissant, but others found themselves in a bit of a sticky situation. Sure, it’s clean and shiny, but the food is hit or miss. Audrey Wolmarans found the cakes dry, and other reviews mention some seriously overpriced items that might leave you questioning your life choices.
The staff are friendly, which is great, but if you’re paying top dollar, you might want your food to be top-notch too. With some good moments and some big disappointments, GAIL's is a fuel stop that you might hit on the way to somewhere better.
