Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Karapincha is a small Sri Lankan spot right in Canary Wharf that serves up food with all the charm of a home kitchen. The samosas are legit, and the tea? Pure bliss. The team, especially the lovely lady from Chennai, makes you feel like family. But letβs not ignore the chaos; it can get packed during lunch, and seating is as scarce as good Wi-Fi at the office.
While the fried rice and chicken is a solid choice, not everyone loves the portion sizes, especially if you're a hungry hippo. So, roll the dice on the devil chicken if you're feeling brave, but be prepared for some heatβand we mean that literally. Overall, itβs a cute spot for a quick bite, but donβt go in expecting a Michelin star experience. Itβs far more about the vibe than the fine dining.
"The tea was absolutely fantastic, and the samosas reminded me of home."
"We hired Karapincha to cater our wedding and were delighted with how it went."
"The fried rice & chicken - delicious!"
