Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Paul in Earl's Court is your go-to for a quick pastry fix or a decent coffee, but don’t expect to be wowed. The decor might be a bit tired, but Maura Fernandez Rodriguez found their croissant and coffee a solid combo. The service? Well, it’s hit or miss depending on who’s behind the counter. Some staff, like Catarina, are lovely and welcoming, while others seem to be battling their own issues. The chaotic order pickup—where staff just shout names like a game show—leaves much to be desired.
If you’re in the area and need a quick bite, it’ll do the trick. Just don’t plan your entire day around it—you might end up disappointed if you’re expecting a cozy atmosphere or consistent service.
"The store looks fine, bit ran down, but nothing major."
"Delicious coffee, mix croissant… fast service."
"Service was excellent. You don't get that these days."
