The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Botanist is like that restaurant that everyone seems to enjoy, but it doesn’t quite hit the mark for something special. The food is good, the atmosphere nice, and Eloise's service is a highlight. However, it’s often overshadowed by a few service hiccups, especially when it gets busy.
While they do serve some decent dishes like belly pork and halloumi kebabs, they’ve also had moments where the mains didn’t quite deliver. It’s a reliable place for a meal, just don’t expect fireworks. If you want something consistent without the risk of food poisoning, it fits the bill.
