Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Afro-Beats and Carib-Eats is the kind of place you want to hit up when you're craving some spice in your life. Hygiene? Spot on with a 5/5 rating. Jamie Lou enjoyed the generous chicken portions, though a bit more jollof would have taken it to the next level. Felicia Rome is on board with the pepper prawns in garlic butter, calling them delicious. The service is friendly and accommodating, making it a decent spot for a casual meal.
However, not everyone is thrilled. Connor Eade called out the audacity of the 'large jerk chicken' portion, which apparently left a lot to be desired. The food might be good, but make sure you're not expecting a feast unless you want to pay extra. Still, itβs a solid place to satisfy your cravings for Afro-Caribbean flavours without breaking the bank.
