The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Battersea Tandoori and Varanasi Chefs is the place where your tastebuds might get confused. While some folks are singing praises about their takeaway experience and the 'amazing' chili cheese naan, others are left wondering if they walked into a culinary black hole. Tim Moff Nicholas enjoyed a quiet table for one, loving the food and friendly staff, but then there’s Louisa who felt her pup got a warmer welcome than her at the outdoor seating—awkward. And don't even get me started on Tom's bland Rogan Josh. It’s a mixed bag, like your ex's cooking.
The staff seem to be either champs or chumps. Edward Mullins had his large party of 25 accommodated flawlessly, while Vishnu Dev was left high and dry by a menu that promised the moon but delivered a sad, onion-less space. So, if you fancy a gamble on whether you’ll leave satisfied or feeling betrayed, Battersea Tandoori is your spot. Just don’t say I didn’t warn you about the potential for culinary disappointment.
