CANDLEMAKER SMOKD is the kind of joint you want for a proper feast. With a 5/5 hygiene rating and a 4.6-star score, it’s clean and cool—just what you need for BBQ and burgers. Andrew Dodd was all in on the vibe, praising the friendly staff and how no burger here is a messy affair. Asha Sereno echoed that sentiment, raving about their smoky Sunday roasts that come with all the fixings. From crispy roast potatoes to Yorkshire puddings, they’re doing the roasted meat thing right.
But not everything is perfect. Chloe Forrest noted the meat could use a touch more flavor, and J VMS found the baby back ribs a bit tough.
