Franco Manca is the kind of pizza place that invites you in with the promise of sourdough perfection but occasionally sends you home with a rock-hard crust. Feyiz calls their pizza delicious, and Na was wooed by the warm service and fresh ingredients. Dickon had a nostalgic night back at his old favorite, while Gennaro gave a shout-out to Pasquale for his pizza wizardry. But not everyone left happy—James and Gemma noted that the toppings were sparse and the pizza burnt, respectively. Omar and Modernist both lamented that the magic they once experienced has faded.
