La Casa Mia Italian Restaurant is the kind of spot that makes you feel like you’ve just stepped into a family member’s kitchen—if that family member were really into calamari and truffle mushrooms. The truffle mushroom dish is apparently a showstopper, and you can thank Joseph and Anna for being the welcoming faces behind the counter. The pasta is cooked perfectly (and not al dente in a bad way, let’s hope), while the carbonara will make you want to hug your plate.
But hold your horses, because it’s not all sunshine and pasta; there’s some drama over here too. One poor soul had a run-in with an aggressive chef, which sounds like a missed opportunity for a cooking show. It’s a mixed bag—good food but be ready for the odd hiccup in service. You might love it or leave wondering why you didn’t just order pizza instead. 🍝😬
