The Font Wandsworth is the climbing gym that doubles as a decent hangout spot. Namuun Mandal couldn’t get enough of how helpful the staff were, and Aris praised the creative setting that keeps climbers on their toes. Kathryn M had a great time during a birthday climbing session, thanks to the welcoming instructor Raf. Even James Drago Ferrante was impressed with the friendly, mixed vibe among climbers.
However, it’s not all sunshine and smiles. Oscar Warburton pointed out that most of the holds needed a good scrub, and Stephanie Z had a less-than-stellar experience with a rude staff member. If you’re keen to climb and socialize, The Font is a solid bet, but maybe bring some hand sanitizer and temper your expectations for cleanliness.
