Aubaine is that brunch place you might find yourself at, but don’t expect to be blown away. The menu is loaded with options, and while the atmosphere screams 'Instagram', the food feels like it's hitting a plateau. Despite a few glowing reviews praising the lobster pasta and mussels, there’s a sense that Aubaine is coasting on its location rather than its culinary prowess. You could have a good meal, but it’s not a culinary journey by any means.
It’s definitely got the brunch vibe going, perfect for a pre-walk pit stop near Hyde Park, but if you’re looking for something memorable, you might want to look elsewhere. It's clean and tidy, and the service can be great, but if the food doesn't back it up, what’s the point?
