Cock Tavern Public House is your run-of-the-mill pub with a dash of charm, perfect for a pint after some heavy-duty shopping. You’ve got a lovely fireplace and a cozy vibe that’s basically Christmas in a glass – minus the awkward family dynamics. Samuel Smith's old brewery bitter? Top-notch. And how about that Imperial Stout that hits you like a warm hug on a cold day? You’ll feel right at home.
But it’s not all good news. A couple of unfortunate souls had a service experience that could make even the cheeriest beer lover cry. And if you’re lucky enough to find a time when the taps aren’t dry, you might just have a decent time here.
