Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
De Hems Public House is the kind of place that shouts 'good times' with a side of Dutch beer and a good atmosphere, yet it might not knock your socks off. The drinks are solid, and the vibe is friendly with staff that know how to keep you happy, as Mark and Jamie found out. But if you're expecting a Michelin-star meal, you might want to adjust your expectations. The menu has its moments, but some feel itβs a bit overpriced for what you get. VR had a craving for Dutch comfort food, which he enjoyed, but Maria felt a bit let down by the service at times.
In short, itβs a chill spot to grab a drink and a snack, especially if youβre a fan of Dutch brews. Just donβt expect too much from the food and you should be alright.
"Brilliant location you will never miss."
"Great pub in central London if youβre into Dutch and Belgian beers."
"The young barman who served was smiley and welcoming."
