Department Of Coffee And Social Affairs is a cozy little spot for caffeine addicts, but let’s not pretend it’s a luxury experience. The flat white is apparently smooth and balanced, but the interior is as basic as it gets. If you’re after a high-end vibe, keep dreaming. It’s perfect for working remotely, as long as you're not too fussy about the decor.
One reviewer was all about the coffee, saying it’s the best they’ve had in ages, while their niece raved about the matcha. So there’s that. The service is friendly, and you might even get a loyalty card – fancy. But if you’re expecting a gourmet experience, you might want to temper those expectations.
