🏠 BASEMENT AND GROUND FLOOR 64 LONG ACRE, LONDON, WC2E 9JD
Tier Achieved:
Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.
The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Gail's Long Acre is one of those cafes where you get the double whammy of decent hygiene but service that’s about as warm as a cup of cold tea. René thinks it’s great for lunch, but Amanda Scarrott flagged the iced tea they served as flavorless, served in a chipped cup to boot. Then there’s Eleanor with a horror story about flies over her cake and a toilet situation that would make even the strongest stomach turn. It’s like they nailed the food but forgot to train the staff on how not to scare customers away. A truly mixed bag of experiences, you might want to bring hand sanitizer and your own tea bags.
"Excellent place to have lunch."
"Good vibes and yummy baked goods."
"Tea was cold with absolutely no flavour."
