Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Garrick Club is like stepping into a slightly stuffy, exclusive time capsule. Seth Kruger had a lovely dinner and enjoyed the high table experience, while Johnny Bacigalupo marveled at the art collection. The service and food seem to hit the mark for most, but we canβt overlook the elephant in the room: it's a gentlemen's club, and not in the fun way. David Learner and Stephen Paul werenβt thrilled with the exclusivity and gender issues, which are pretty hard to ignore in today's world.
If youβre a man and can score an invite, you might enjoy the ambiance and food, but for the rest of us, itβs a bit of a βno girls allowedβ vibe that can make dining here a tad awkward. If you can handle the atmosphere, go for it, just donβt expect it to be an inclusive experience.
"Had an absolutely lovely dinner here."
"Wonderful building, terrific art collection."
"If someone invites you to a meal there bite their hand off."
