Tier Achieved:
Mediocre energy. You'd probably do better cooking at home.
The epitome of "does the job." Safe enough, food's fine. But let's be honest — your kitchen's probably cleaner AND tastier.
Holland House is what you’d call a budget traveler’s haven, but it might feel more like a survival camp if you’re not prepared for its quirks. You’ll find the occasional gem among the chaos, like the catering facility, but the hot water situation seems to have gone AWOL. With a new manager, Chika, there’s been a glimmer of hope, but this place is still a mixed bag of cleanliness and comfort.
On the bright side, the rooms are spacious and some staff actually remember to be friendly. Just don't expect a five-star experience when the water’s playing hide and seek. So if you're backpacking, it’s fine. But if you’re looking for luxury, you might want to keep scrolling. 🚿💧
"Great choice for budget travelers."
"The staff were so polite and friendly."
"Good value for money."
