The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
La Ballerina is trying really hard to impress, but sometimes it feels like that one friend who overdoes it at parties. The Italian fare is decent, but the decor has a ‘your grandma's front room’ vibe that’s just a bit too nostalgic for my taste. But hey, if you’re into heartwarming service and quick meals, you’ll find some gems on the menu.
Francesco makes a mean atmosphere, and the steak gets high marks, but don’t bank on the pizza being anything more than a supermarket special. With a few hits and misses, La Ballerina is a mixed bag. It’s not bad by any means, just... not exactly a culinary ballet.
