Tier Achieved:
Amazing food. Hygiene score you can forgive.
The food slaps and hygiene is "Good" β not perfect, but nothing to worry about. Go for it.
Maison Francois is like that fancy French restaurant that tries to impress but sometimes falls flat. The food quality is there, with dishes like steak tartare that actually deliver, but you might find the service feels a tad snooty. Theyβve nailed the chic bistrot vibe, but sometimes itβs a bit too polished for its own good.
If youβre willing to pay the premium, you might enjoy a meal thatβs at least decent, even if itβs slightly overpriced. Just donβt expect to be welcomed with open arms; some staff seem to be more in love with their own atmosphere than pleasing their guests. It's hit or miss, but the onion soup is a winner.
"The onion tatin was absolutely amazing, and the escargot flatbread is a must-try!"
"The steak tartare on bone marrow (which was made to order and delicious)."
"The pear and Disaronno sorbet for dessert was sensational."
