Marchesi 1824 is a slice of Italian heaven in London. The cappuccino is hailed as amazing and the veneziana is a sweet tooth's dream. AL and Giovanni were right to rave about the attentive service, making you feel like part of the family. It's all about the experience here, with the beautiful interior and quality pastries stealing the show.
But hold your horses, it can get a bit chaotic during busy times. Your cake might be waiting while you twiddle your thumbs. And as lovely as the staff are, the space can feel cramped. Still, if you want quality coffee and pastries, give it a go. Just prepare for a bit of a wait if you're there at peak times.
