Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
Oliveto is the kind of place that tries its best to impress with its Sardinian cuisine but sometimes fumbles the ball. Sy raved about the lobster pasta, but others had a mixed experience with the service, noting that it can feel a bit hit or miss. It’s packed with locals, so at least you know it’s got a following and some decent dishes, but keep your guard up. The atmosphere is cozy, making it a decent pit stop in the busy Belgravia area.
However, it’s not without its flaws; there have been complaints about hair in meals and overcooked pasta, which is a big no-no in any restaurant. While some dishes shine, others might leave you scratching your head. If you’re looking for a great meal, it might be worth a gamble, but don’t say I didn’t warn you.
"The lobster pasta and the crab pasta, and both were very good."
"A cornerstone to making this part of Belgravia feel like a local neighbourhood."
"The food here was amazing."
