Sandwich Express is a small gem that packs a mighty punch for lunch. G Hs found the staff to be welcoming and the sandwiches to be a step above your average grab-and-go. The chicken Caesar on a tomato roll is a hit, and Laurence Ho was all about the flavorful chicken and bacon spinach sandwich. It’s a no-frills kind of place, but that’s exactly what you want when you’re looking to fuel up quickly.
The downside? It’s a small shop with no seating, so be prepared to take your sandwich to a nearby park or risk the dreaded standing lunch. But for quick bites in a central location, this place is hard to beat.
