Tier Achieved:
Clean. Reliable. Does the job.
The "lights out missionary" of food. Spotless kitchen, decent grub. Won't blow your mind, won't disappoint.
The Eight Restaurant is where family lunches go to thrive—at least during service hours. With a menu that’s longer than a CVS receipt, you’d think they’d have mastered the art of delivering hot food on time. Thankfully, they did, and it was all reportedly delicious, from the turnip cake to the sweet pineapple bun with butter. Who knew a bun could ignite such joy?
But it’s not all sunshine and rainbows. While the food has a solid rep, some diners felt the atmosphere could use a boost. It can get chaotic, especially on weekends, but if you’re craving Hong Kong-style dishes, it might just be worth the hustle.
"The staff are incredibly friendly and the waiter gave us so many great recommendations."
"The pineapple bun is delicious, it’s big as well."
"Food were simply THAT good."
