Ye Grapes Public House is a bit of a mixed bag, kind of like a mystery box of pub experiences. Dimitri calls it one of his top five pubs, but let's be real, it’s mainly a place for pints rather than a dining destination. Belinda found the upstairs Thai restaurant to be a pleasant surprise, raving about the sweet and sour chicken and passionfruit martini. Who knew beer and Thai food could coexist so harmoniously?
However, the food quality seems to dip for some, with Owayne Khale Yap lamenting his dry roast beef. So if you’re in it for the drinks and a fun vibe with friends, you might just find yourself loving it here. Just steer clear of the roast if you're picky about your dinner. 🍺
